Our proprietary Hexapeptide 389 is a type of peptide that is contained in some anti-aging skincare products. It works by relaxing the facial muscles that cause the formation of wrinkles, known as expression lines.
When applied to the skin, Hexapeptide 389 gradually absorbs into the deeper layers of the skin up to 30 days and inhibits the release of neurotransmitters that stimulate muscle contractions.
This results in reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, specifically forehead wrinkles.
By relaxing the facial muscles, Hexapeptide 389 can help to prevent wrinkle formation over time. It has been shown to have a similar effect to Botox, but without the need for injections.
